I came across a hoarding in Ejipura, Bangalore with a different caption that read “Leave Office Early“.
Of course, with the surprised mind, I was very curious to check out what was there in store by surfing the website http://leaveofficeearly.com. I am sure you would also love to do the same thing. Aint I?
On a whole, it is for a nice initiative targeted on June 24, 2011.
This is an interesting fact to you if you are a regular searcher apart from just being a surfer. The news would not just be interesting but will be shocking as well.
The shocking news is that “Microsoft Bing Search Engine copies the results of Google Search Engine”. How bad it is? Not believing? Huh.. Go ahead and read this official blog of Google -> http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/02/microsofts-bing-uses-google-search.html
What’s your say?
Having been reading my favorite author Robin Sharma’s blogs (The author of excellent books entitled ‘The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari’, ‘Who Will Cry When You Die’, ‘Greatness Guide’ etc.,) through my subscriptions on his website and a few them are marked with ‘To Blog’ label in my Gmail inbox. This one was also more or less happened to fall in the same category, but there was a special request from the beloved Robin Sharma which explicitly requests the readers to share and spread this message across people.
I am obeying sincerely with no second thoughts. 🙂
Here you go.
I started off the first chapter of “The Greatness Guide” with “I’m No Guru”. Nearly every leadership presentation begins with me sharing my VHB (Very Humble Beginnings) and the fact that I am right out of the audience. In nearly every one of the thousands of media interviews I’ve done, I fight for the fact that I’m just an ordinary guy. Why do I do this? Because I never want you to think that I’m somehow different from you. I never want you to think that the practices I live by and encourage you to embrace so you get to your best in terms of leadership and success and personal development are not possible for you to do because I’m somehow cut from a different cloth. But today I make the change. I have to admit it. I’m special.
Now before your eyes glaze over and you begin to question why you read my blog each day, kindly stay with me. I’m trying to make a point here. And it’s a big one.
I am special. And here’s the beautiful thing: SO ARE YOU. Saying that I’m ordinary is to deny the gifts that have been given to me. And you classifying yourself as ordinary is to make the very same mistake. Let’s choose not to do it anymore, ok?
No one walking the planet today is ordinary. Yes, too many have forgotten that they have remarkable gifts living within them and extraordinary potential to craft strikingly great lives and the power to be the change that they most wish they could see in the world (to paraphrase The Mahatma). Yes, too many people have resigned themselves to mediocrity and coasting through their days because they actually have been seduced into believing the liars in their minds that are nothing more than the voices of their fear (aka doubt). Yes, too many people actually believe in the false reality that The Great Ones (in business, arts, sciences, society) are different (and smarter/faster/stronger/luckier…include your own Excuse of Choice here). But none of that’s Truth. Is it? (And Leadership is a Hunt for The Truth).
The glaring truth of the matter is so staggeringly clear to anyone who wants to open their eyes (and heart) wide enough to see it: you, me, the grocery clerk at your local grocery story, the cabbie in Colombia, the poet in Pukhet, the banker in Buenos Aires, the nurse in Nepal, the teenager in Texas, the farmer in Fredericton… Every single one of us who inhabits the planet this very moment is special. We have great gifts that long to be sculpted into our own unique form of genius. We have authentic power that aches to be awakened and then used for a worthwhile purpose. We have potential that – if realized – could profoundly elevate organizations and communities and nations…and so The World. There’s not a single person alive today that doesn’t have the potential to positively influence a cast of thousands if they get out of their own way (by breaking through their doubts, fears and excuses) and act as the person that they truly are. Please think about that idea. No extra people on this planet. We all have Calls on Our Lives.
So no, I’m not ordinary (and I will no longer disrespect myself by saying that; the words we use have staggering power to create our reality). And the thing that makes me just as happy. Neither are you. Remember that.
P.S. Please share this blog with all those you know who will benefit by it. It’s a pretty powerful idea I think – that none of us is ordinary. And an idea that has the potential to help someone see themself -and their ability to make a difference in a whole new way. I fiercely want to get this message out to as many people in as many countries as possible over the next 12 hours. Please help me to do so. Let’s work together here.
It does make sense. Right? In a way we are all *special* to save the purpose of our existence in the earth :). Let’s be more special hereafter and do many special things to the people around.
May be useful for people who are from Tamilnadu (India) and may travel via coimbatore (to and from).

Looks Like I am working on a Mainframes Terminal? 🙂 Huh.. No way.. Its the ‘Gmail’ with the ‘Themes’ 🙂
Always been wondering about the 6 letter world ‘Google’ as their breathing mantra is all about ‘Innovation’, ‘Creativity’. They just rock and I simply fall in love with every aspect of Gmail.
I do remember I was one of the few to comment the same sharing the addiction towards Gmail service by bypassing all the predecessors Yahoo, Rediffmail which were ruling till then.
Thanks to my colleagye Vivek Juneja for just setting this theme ‘Terminal‘ (with Courier New font — towards which I started having a liking of late) accidentally when he was trying to find out a theme called ‘Mountain‘ which he is using in his machine. I guess the set of themes vary depends on the browser you use. Vivek uses Google’s own new browser ‘Google Chrome’ and there he has little more different themes. As I do use ‘Flock’ which is based on ‘Mozilla Firefox’, I don’t.
Though I always go with the simple and pleasant colours, this one has dominated today because of the power saving thought [Check out www.blackle.com – yet another stuff from Google which suggests you to go for black background to save the power consumption]. Moreover accidental events sometimes yield good results 🙂
One good aspect whih has NOT dissatisfied me was the font style is retained in the mail content with this theme :). Way to go Google..
I Love you Google 🙂

I am sure it would be of a great rescue to Bangaloreans who are in need to travel via air. As the new airport (Bangalore International Airport — BIAL) is located far away from the city and the average time duration to reach is about 2.5-3 hours in the day time, everyone in the picture tends to make use (exploit rather? huh…) of the situations for getting more MONEY!.
This particular piece of info i got from my friend through an email seems to be of a great boon. Thought of sharing it here ! 🙂 But, kindly go through the website for the full-and-updated information!
Here you go..
We are starting a Airport Transfer Service for Bangalore . Since the New airport is far from the city and we feel that Airport Transfers will become very expensive for the Passengers and there will be a definite problem to commute to and from the New Airport . We are introducing our service to make airport Transfers less expensive and still provide the required luxury while taking customers to and from the airport. We will pick up the customers from the Airlift pickup points and drop them to the airport and vice versa bring them to the city from the airport.
Unique features of the Airlift Vehicle
* Airlift will be 6 seat air conditioned Toyota Innova. Individual Bucket seats for all 5 passengers.
* Airlift will have a LCD screen on each passenger seat for personalized entertainment system, these screens will show 5 channels with different contents.
* Airlift has ample overhead covered and secured luggage space.
* Airlift will be Wi-Fi enabled for passengers to browse the internet on the screens and as well as with their laptops.
* Airlift will be driven by our Auto Pilots who will be in uniform and well trained to communicate and present themselves to the customers.
* Airlift will also be tracked by GPS system to ensure efficient on time services and tracking every vehicle to make sure of complete security of passengers.
Airlift is being designed to provide complete comfort and help the passenger to use their commuting time productively.
We feel that the Normal City Cab from or to the Airport will cost about 750/- to 1000/- one way. Our service has been priced at Rs. 300/- one way and moreover Return journey for to and from the airport will be Rs. 450/- per person. That is nearly 70% saving on the Airport Transfers vis-à-vis a regular City Cab.
