Thanks for your earlier support for our Educational Support effort. Currently Muruganadam completed his B.E., (Production) from NIT-Trichy and working for Bajaj Auto, Pune. He arranged Rs.8000/- through his network and helped gayathri to pursue her College.
Currently we need to mobilise for these two persons hailing from very poor background from remote villages in Tamil Nadu.
1.Karthick, Mechanical Engg (Self Supporting), Thiagarajar College of Engg, Madurai.
He had contacted me very late. He got admission in Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai this year for Mechanical Engineering (Self Supporting). He never know whereabouts of his father and his mother is dump and deaf. She is working as a daily wages in a rice mill. This boy hails from a village near Karaikudi. Extremely poor even for the day to day survival. With all his constraints, he secured 456/500 in 10th Std and with the available teaching facilities he secured 1008/1200 and got admission into TCE Madurai. If he would’ve contacted us earlier we could’ve guided him to take Anna University and arranged him for a bank loan and scholarship. Currently, he need to pay Rs.62,350.00. This boy with his known local teacher tried all the banks for educational loan and none of them had helped him anyway. Currently, we got extention for reporting for admission in the college till 30th August, 2007. I have enclosed all the details in the attachments. We are also trying to organise through private loans/bank loans to meet the deadline.

2. Gayathri, Diploma in Teacher Training at Namakkal
She also hails from very poor background. We had already supported her last year. TCS Dina knows very well. This year she needs Rs.15,000. Our beneficiary Murugananadam from Bajaj Auto Pune arranged Rs.8000.00 and she needs further 7000 for her course. She also secured very good marks in +2 and she is very much interested in becoming Teacher. Hence, she took this course.
As you all aware about our rules. You can contribute Rs.500 or Rs.1000 or any amount of our choice. Please call me and do the best at the earliest from your end.

I would like to say that I am a student of Electrical Engineering and doing final year of Graduation. My father, which was the only source of income for me has been died few weeks ago and now I am suffering from the lack of funds for my studies. There are few months remaining in final examination and I have no money to deposit my tuition fee, which is Rs. 2,500/- equivalent to Euro. 25/- and in dollars it is USD 36/- and the said fee is of for the three months.
Having a huge hope on God, it is to be requested that please donate me the above said amount for my studies, as this is the three months fee and according to the rules, I have to deposit the full said amount in advance before 03:00 PM, Pakistan Standard Time of dated July 12, 2008. It is to be informed that I have already been checked all necessary and immediate solutions regarding my problem but my all tries were went useless and regarding my school, which is actually a college, they just extend the date for deposit the fee from July 03, 2008 to July 12, 2008 and if I will unable to deposit the same, obviously my name will be eliminated from the enrolment, therefore, please if you have the ability from God to help me in my problem then please do so, because at this time my studies are the TOP PRIORITY.

I really don’t know what or how to say that I need help because I have never asked for help like this before but I am raising three grandchildren and a greatgrandchild and I am about to lose my home to foreclosure and we will all be on the streets then and they know nothing and think that everything is just fine but I can no longer do the extra little side jobs to make our ends meet and they are not old enough to help and all i recieve a month is 900.00 US dollars and my mortgage payment is $620.00 and the light bill has gone up iver $600.00 dollars this summer and I can no longer rob peter to pay paul and I have max out all my credit so I am in a real mess now and if anyone can just help me get some kind of work even I would be glad to work even though I am disabled and have had 8 back surgeries and need 2 more right now but first I need to try and fix my problems somehow and even if it is just a loan I will pay as much back as I can each month but I need to get 65,000.00 to pay off my house as I cannot keep paying the loan I have now at 9.50 interest and all my other bills too. whatever kind of help you are able to give me will be deeply appreciated, even if it is just advice. Greetings, Me and my family are farmers located in one of the most remote and rugged regions of Himalayas in India where there are no access to roads or transportations. Our home and fields are situated over the mountain approx. 3500 feet above sea level where the weather is unpredictable which makes farming very hard and life unbearable. All the farm work is done manually by hand by the members of my family. We normally grow garlic in small quantities which we sell to sustain the family for a whole year. As there are no access to roads we have to carry the loads on our backs at times 50 to 80 KG to access the nearest road which is couple of hours down the mountain and is a back breaking process. Even to get small food items we have to be going through this exercise everyday for our survival. Our everyday diet consist of five or six rotis (wheat flour and water mixed and roasted like a pancake) with mostly dal (gravy made out of pulse) with occasional rice two times a day. At times we collect wild vegetables from nearby forest to supplement our diet. Because of lack of nutrition our health conditions also suffer many times in a year. Here even today babies are born in the house. Birth is supervised by one of the older village woman as there are no doctors or any qualified medical people. In cases of emergency we have to carry the patient on our back to the road and any medical attention can be gotten 15 kms further down the road. This has resulted in many deaths in past years with young and old.
Since last two years due to changing weather conditions and untimely rainfall our fields could not yield crops properly. We are poor farmers just scrapping through life trying to stay alive. Added to these problems last year three of my family members one of whom is a six month old baby had deteriorating health conditions which needed hospitalisation and medicines which cost us major portion of the money we could earn by selling our crop. Normally we earn about 50,000 INR in a year by selling garlic and we grow small quantities of wheat and corn enough to keep the family through the year. Due to these sufferings and extra expenditure am now in great distress to be even able to buy seeds to grow crop in our field to sustain ourselves. To have one morsel of food has become a nightmare for all of us and we are nine members in the family with two small babies of 8 months and two years. The future of our survival looks very bleak given the conditions and lack of health and finance to tend the field.
I would be highly grateful if your goodselves would consider me and my family a worthy cause to extend your help to us with 5000 USD which I can use to buy necessary seeds for the crops, few essential medications, a mule for transportation, fix the leaking roof of our home, do little maintenance to our field for yielding more crop and get me, my family andour field back on track as our field is the only source of our survival. My family consist of myself, my sick wife, two sons and two daughters, 2 small babies and a daughter in law.
